Quick Note

Good morning all! After a week of being out of town, I'm enjoying being back in my own bed. We had some company this weekend. My brother, sister-in-law, and cousins ran the half marathon here in Bismarck. They all did very well and seemed to enjoy it.

Gwen's brother, Scott (also Robyn's husband) ran the 5K, but he is the one who took the picture so I don't have one of him.

Karli went with some of the cousins' kids and Oma to watch the race, Jon and Nate walked in the parade for Governor Hoeven with Opa, Megan and I stayed home to make birthday cake for Jon. Oh, did I mention Saturday was his birthday? He turned the big 3-9. I've been telling him for years that he is pushing 40. It keeps getting closer...
